Let's start with our trip to Texas. It went well! The kids behaved well on the flights and we only had a little trouble in one airport on the way home. Overall, however, I would recommend not flying with Delta if it can be avoided. They were not overly helpful in general (even rude at times) and the fees were absolutely outrageous (which I realize are hard to avoid anymore)! We had a good time visiting with all our family and friends down south. :) Since then, the kids and I have been settling into a pretty solid routine. Gabriel takes 2 naps pretty regularly every day and I have instituted "quiet time" for Callie between 2:00 and 3:00. She usually falls asleep, but sometimes she gets upset. I keep trying to tell her that it's not a punishment, it's just supposed to be a relaxing time for her in her room. Yesterday, quiet time was amazing! So hopefully, we're catching onto the idea.
