Running Behind

Well, it seems like the best laid plans . . . For everyone who doesn't know, we're expecting Baby N in January! We are so excited, but this is not at all what we had planned. Number 1 because January is the start of my Scholastic Bowl season. So we'll see what happens. But it also means right as I'm trying to get last minute things done for all our trips and guests, I'm feeling pretty puny with pregnancy sickness! I'm so happy that we're expecting, and I hate to be complaining, but it's hard for a planner to have everything thrown out of whack! Despite it all, I feel so blessed that our family is growing once again. On top of all that, Gabe's birthday is in a week and I haven't even gotten his invitations and announcements started! So, just to let you all know I'm sure they will be late . . . I've got most of his party supplies and things lined up. Hopefully we'll have some guests in attendance! Argh! Ok, so enough complaini...

4 months of photos . . . summarized!

So Callie turned four and it took me awhile to get her professional photos taken. We kept having to reschedule!  There it is! 4 years! It's official.  Such a goofball.  This is Gabe sleeping at a hotel while we were getting ready for church. We had lights on, tv on, everything, so he just covered up his head and kept on sleeping.  Gabe being a big boy at church trying to find the song we were singing.  Callie doing some school activities. This was a matching game that she received for her birthday.  Gabe and Philip have been practicing their pool play so Gabe can hustle his way through college. hahaha! Not really, but Gabe enjoys carrying around a big stick.  Gabe snuck up behind me while I was cutting bread for dinner and took a bite out of the end.  The bite he "allegedly" took out of the a fore mentioned bread.  Callie working on her colors and fine motor skills. She really enjoyed this activity...

Getting things Done

It's been quite a while since I sat down at the computer and had time to look back through my posts and (gasp) actually give everyone an update on our little family. We had a lot more matches and practices for Scholastic Bowl this year and things just got too busy to keep up with everything. I had to let some things go for awhile, but I'm hoping that this week will get all that back on track! One thing that got put on the back burner was Callie's official lessons. We worked here and there and did some learning games over the months, but we are planning on starting her official lessons back up this next week. As long as she's feeling up to it . . . Callie is having surgery tomorrow on her nose and having her adenoids removed. There's a small chance that the doctor will also decide to remove her tonsils as well, but he said that he does not anticipate that to be the case. We're hoping she can keep her tonsils as 1) They're not a problem right now and 2) It...
