Well, April has seemed very busy at times, very slow at others, and very fast all at the same time! It's amazing how one day seems to drag on and on and pretty soon you're at the end of the month and you wonder how you got there! Callie has passed her second word list and is into AR reading now. She is very excited to bring home these books and read them by herself (for the most part). She is getting tested on them at school and earns bonus points and special prizes for each test in which she gets all the answers correct. From being quite timid in her reading at the beginning of the year, she has certainly gained a lot of confidence in this area and it's been amazing to see her grow and blossom in this area. Her favorite subject is still math and I will say that she seems to be exceptionally gifted (not a biased opinion at all) in this area. -- Anyone who knows me, knows that this comes from my husband's side of the family entirely, as I am lucky to get my checkbook b...
