I cannot believe Callie is 7 years old. It's really just crazy to me! It doesn't seem like it was that long ago she was a tiny baby just like Skylar. But here it is, 7 years later! Callie apparently decided that I needed a good challenge for her seventh birthday. She asked me to do a "Forest Friends" theme. Forest friends?? I guess at least the fox has been popular lately. But seriously, it was not an easy theme to find anything for! Here's our table decor. Fortunately, I did not have to buy a whole lot to pull this together!  Table with the chalkboard in the background. I made the butterflies out of tissue paper. Our games and craft. It was pretty easy for me to see a special party theme for Nolan that would make him feel oh so special! He daily comes into whatever room I am in, asks me to put on his cookie monster costume and then walks around the house saying "Dum de dum dum dum". And the only show he is completely captivated by? You guessed it: Sesame Street. But his favorite characters by far are "Tookie" and "Momo". So I set out to make this birthday extra special as last year he was sick on his birthday and I was sick with pregnancy for the next three months so I didn't do an especially fine job last year. On the positive side, the three oldest kids have all now "suffered" through a party that Mommy didn't really give it her all thanks to that problem so fair is fair right?!? (I guess I'll have to do that for one of Skylar's parties as well just to keep it even!!) Philip helped cut out the face for the Cookie Monster cookie boxes. He's so...
