So I didn't really think that spring break was going to affect me until my kids were in school, but since I took this coaching job, it was really nice to have a week of no practice and no meets. Yesterday was my first day back, and boy was it a mess! We were hosting a local team at our school and it seemed as if everything that could go wrong did. We realized after setting up our entire lock out system (the buzzers) that one of them was not working and the other school had brought theirs but it was not compatible with ours so we had to take the whole thing down and set theirs up. Then, in the chaos of trying to figure out what to do with the lock out system, I forgot to get some of the other things ready for the match. So, for the first time in my match history, we started late! I guess everyone has a match problem at least once . . . In home news, Gabriel is a BIG eater, and a slow eater.
